When you work the health and social sector there comes a point where you can no longer ignore the reality that until there is momentum to address the ever-expanding inequalities in the world, then your work is pointless. The fact that this is the one thing that society does the least to solve, is demoralising. So like anyone else would do when feeling both outraged and defeated, I wrote a poem.

For the music, I tried to use sounds that I might hear in a swamp.
